What is a sales call?

A sales call is four simple steps, no matter the product or service you are selling.

If you want to increase your conversion rates during a sales call, make sure you’re focusing on these four basics:

1. Start by understanding where the prospect currently stands with their situation. What are their pain points or challenges?

Example: “Can you tell me more about your current marketing strategy?”

2. Ask about their desired goals and outcomes. What do they want to achieve with the product or service they’re interested in?

Example: “What are your goals for your marketing efforts in the next year?”

3. Identify the challenges or pain points that are preventing them from reaching their goals.

Example: “What are the biggest challenges you face in achieving those goals?”

4. Finally, explain how your product or service can help solve those challenges and pain points, and ultimately help them reach their desired goals.

Example: “Our marketing platform has features specifically designed to address those challenges you mentioned, and can help you achieve your goals more efficiently and effectively.”

By following these four steps, you can build a better understanding of your prospect's needs, and tailor your pitch to show them how your product or service can help them achieve their goals.
